The Supply Technician (Administrative Focus) supports the LMCA contract at Eglin AFB by delivering comprehensive supply and property management services in a research and development environment. This role is responsible for managing inventory, equipment accountability, and administrative supply processes while ensuring compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage inventory, storage, cataloging, and tracking of equipment and supplies using authorized systems such as the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
Maintain accurate property records and conduct routine inventories, including âbook-to-floorâ and âfloor-to-bookâ reconciliations
Provide customer support for supply and equipment requests, ensuring timely processing and compliance with established procedures
Review and coordinate Government Purchase Card (GPC) requests and procurement documentation
Establish and maintain supply files, records, and regulatory publications in accordance with Air Force guidance
Deliver training and guidance to property custodians on accountability procedures and system usage
Support equipment control processes, including asset tracking, labeling, and reporting for lost, damaged, or destroyed property
Perform Information Technology Equipment (ITE) asset accountability and lifecycle management
Assist with material coordination, administrative support, and recordkeeping activities
Support warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory control
Provide mail distribution, administrative stock management, and general logistical support as needed
Requirements
Qualifications
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply, inventory management, property accountability, or related field
Experience using computerized systems for inventory or asset management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Valid driverâs license with a clean driving record
Ability to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, and lifting during inventory and warehouse activities
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance
Prior U.S. Air Force or DoD experience
Familiarity with DPAS or similar property accountability systems
Additional Information
This position is aligned with applicable Service Contract Act (SCA) labor categories, primarily Supply Technician, with occasional support to administrative and material coordination functions. Compensation will meet or exceed applicable SCA wage determinations.
