The selected candidate will provide front line troubleshooting and IT support for computer systems in multiple corporate LAN/WAN environments for our Managed Services customers in the Salt Lake City & Ogden Areas, all of Utah, nationwide and internationally.

CR-T is looking for a Support Desk Level 2 Technician who is a good communicator and can balance client demands while providing strong technical guidance. This candidate will need to be a technical problem solver who possesses strong customer service skills and loves solving technical challenges. It is important to work well within a team environment. Our team is looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow technically, and is open to take direction from senior technicians, dispatch, and management. Responsibilities:

• Respond to service tickets from clients. These can be escalated from the Continuum help desk, from Tier 1, or directly assigned after they call in to dispatch


• Resolve desktop support issues with clients. 


• Address break fix issues that require a higher level of expertise 


• Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis 


• Conduct checks of managed systems on a regular schedule 


• Act as network administrator to assigned clients and perform regular security and network assessments 


• Document clients and system information to secure support capabilities and ensure continuous support regardless of assigned tech 


• Perform assessments of new technologies to determine the value they can bring to customer services 


• Create Scopes of Work for technical support to clients in projects 


• Meet with vendors to build business relationships 


• Continuously improve education via certification programs and vendor training 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years Enterprise or Managed IT support experience


• Client service experience


• Ability to build rapport with key stakeholders


• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills


• Positive and professional demeanor
