Position Summary :
The Support Services Specialist completes a wide variety of customer services tasks serving both our clients and our company's internal departments by phone, e-mail, fax and face-to-face communications. They help organize weekly tumor boards by preparing slides and accession consult cases as needed. They also pull reports, help solve problems, and support the pathologists. It is important that the Support Services Specialist abides by HIPAA regulations, practices and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) procedures where appropriate as this position may be exposed to a number of environmental hazards. This position may be selected by supervisor as Lead with Lead responsibilities.
Position Schedule : M-F 9:00am - 5:30pm, onsite
Essential Duties: Phone calls including scheduling& dispatching for procedures, report revisions, verbal test add-on requests Resolve specimen issues including missing and/or inaccurate information Route slides to all CellNetix locations Prepare tumor board slides for pathologists Accessions consult cases Pulls weekly reports for consult cases Batch scans slides for the slide library Modify internal systems with physician contact information Other duties as assigned Qualifications

High school diploma Medical terminology, preferred Physical Requirements:
