Job Description - Supported Employment Program Supervisor


The IPS Program Supervisor is responsible for  the daily operations of direct service programs. The Program Supervisor will manage administrative, fiscal and quality improvement functions that promote the highest element of service provision for the direct care staff and clients they work with.


Only candidates with an Associates Degree or higher and at least 1 year of experience supervising staff, and 4 years total with direct services who are working directly with unhoused individuals will be considered. A driver's license, vehicle and insurance with a clean driving record is also required. 


This position is 100% on site, no remote work.


Location: Would be between our five different Sacramento BACS sites with the occasional site visit in Fairfield. - MUST feel comfortable commuting to locations on a consistent basis. 


Responsibilities



  • Assures that services are provided in collaboration with all applicable funding streams and regulations.Responsible to ensure contract compliance with all funders to include grant management, presentations, and reports.

  • Supervises staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Responsible for the implementation of service delivery model and in support of BACS mission, vision, and values. 

  • Responsible for implementation of consumer -centered services that are needs-driven, strength -based, and are culturally relevant.

  • Ensures good program outcomes by providing training, supervision, and by working side-by-side with employment specialists (field mentoring).

  • Provides individual supervision for employment specialists including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Supervision includes some office-based sessions, as well working side-by-side with specialists.

  • Acts as a liaison to other department coordinators and administrators at the agency. Communicates regularly with mental health supervisors to ensure that services are integrated, to resolve issues, and to act as a proponent for employment.

  • Works with the office of Vocational Rehabilitation to coordinate services.

  • Increases relationships with job trainings, social enterprises and vocational training partnerships in the area.

  • Manage the maintenance of records and other administrative requirements. Ensures compliance with documentation and charting requirements for all funding streams.

  • Implements continuous Quality improvement standards and works with staff to implement systems for CQI

  • Communicate effectively and conscientiously utilizing strength-based language and philosophy throughout all aspects of program management and supervision.

  • Be an available and engaged manager, supervise staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. If applicable, provide individual and group supervision to interns collecting clinical experience and hours for licensure in their chosen field.

  • Participate in the delivery and attendance at trainings for the purposes of agency, professional, and personal development.  

  • Holds temporary caseload as needs arise.  

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications             



  • Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field and housing experience.

  • Four years of direct service experience required.

  • Two years of progressive administrative, direct service, and leadership skills and experience in the social service field.

  • Demonstrated capacity lead diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal required.

  • Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ability to type 45 wpm.
