Responsible for the conduct of table games for assigned shift in accordance with federal, state, and local gaming regulations, as well as company policies, procedures and internal controls.

While acting in the Supervisor capacity, the Dual Rate Supervisor Casino Games/Dealer reports to the Assistant Manager Casino Games Shift or Dual Rate Assistant Manager Casino Games Shift/Supervisor Casino Games on matters of policy and procedure. While acting in the Dealer or Dealer Poker capacity, the Dual Rate Supervisor Casino Games/Dealer reports to the Supervisor Casino Games on matters of policy and procedure. At all times, the Dual Rate Supervisor Casino Games/Dealer reports to the Supervisor Casino Games for administrative purposes. 

At no time does the Dual Rate Supervisor Casino Games/Dealer perform the regulatory duties of both the Supervisor Casino Games and Dealer/Dealer Poker. 

DEALER:

• Conducts assigned game according to procedure. 
• Exchanges cash for gaming chips according to procedure. 
• Cooperates with other Dealers when assigned to the same game (Craps). 
• When dealing craps, the Dealer may function as Stickperson as required under 465a.35. 
• Controls pace of the game. 
• Informs the Supervisor Casino Games of any request or unusual play. 
• Issues to customers the proper amount of gaming chips after completion of the credit authorization procedures.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. 
• Bending mobility required. 
• Must be able to speak fluently and understand English. 
• When functioning as a Dealer, conducts assigned game according to procedure. 
• Exchanges cash for gaming chips according to procedure. 
• Cooperates with other Dealers when assigned to the same game (Craps). 
• Controls pace of the game.

SUPERVISOR CASINO GAMES:

• Continuously improves service by assessing service problems using player feedback or data. 
• Communicates service problems and team plans in buzz sessions and facilitates problem-solving meetings with team. 
• Demonstrates the ability to discipline and responsibly direct employees.
• Stays involved in hiring process of employees.
• Supervises poker room seating.
• Supervisors can also function either as a boxperson or floorperson in accordance with 465a.35, provided however that the Supervisor Casino Games acting as the Boxperson may not perform the duties of the Floor person on that day.
• Dual Rate Supervisor Casino Games/Dealer may only work in either position once per day.
•  Focuses team on providing “A” level service. 
• Immediately addresses service issues and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. 
• Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events and is present and visible at customer events. 
• Takes personal responsibility for creating an atmosphere of luck.
• Ensures proper procedure is used by all dealers under supervision. 
• Verifies all gaming table transactions in supervised area. 
• Verifies issuance of credit after completion of all authorization procedures.
• Responsible for oversight of credit/cash buy-in process.
• Responsible for input, maintenance and updating of patron information.
• Personally responsible for their dealers being upbeat and friendly while also taking responsibility for following dealing procedures and keeping proper game pace. 
• Manages labor, supplies and other expense items in a manner consistent with company strategy.
• Prepares the various forms, records and documents required for the operation of the casino pit.
• Verifies customer credit information on the display monitor. 
• Requests fills, credits and counter checks from the cashiers cage. 
• Inputs into computer terminal information regarding the inventory and transfer of gaming chips.
• Complimentary privileges within prescribed limits in accordance with the approved comp matrix. (Comping authority only when acting as a Supervisor Casino Games) 
• Oversees the operations of assigned area, ensuring compliance with government and company regulations, internal controls and departmental policies and procedures. 
• Ensures proper procedure is used by all dealers under supervision. 
• Verifies all gaming table transactions in supervised area. 
• Maintains awareness of activity on games in area of supervision; settles disputes that may arise, escalating issues when appropriate. 
• Verifies issuance of credit after completion of all authorization procedures. 
• Motivates dealers to provide superior customer service while also taking responsibility for following dealing procedures and keeping proper game pace. 
• Directly responsible for customer service objectives.   
• Informs the Assistant Manager Casino Games Shift of any request or unusual play. 
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. 
• Employees will be evaluated periodically to determine suitability to continue in dual-rate function.
