Job Description - Supv, Trans Progs & Bus Ops

The Transportation Programs & Business Operations Supervisor plays an instrumental role in the implementation of organizational and Transportation Department objectives in areas of commute programs, customer service, service delivery, and business operations through the effective utilization of staff and financial resources. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a suite of award-winning Transportation Demand Management programs and services that provide convenience and value to our workforce and organization. Programs include, but are not limited to, commute concierge, new employee orientations, parking assignments, the administration of bike programs, Guaranteed Ride Home, carpool, van pool and transit perks. Supervises customer service operations full-time and per diem employees who provide program and parking information to Children's workforce members as their standard work. Oversees the business operations of the Transportation & Sustainability Department, including the daily and long-term financial practices of the Commuter Services Office, administering and monitoring financial transactions between the Transportation Department, partner departments, client companies, and Children's staff (both employees and non-employees), forecasting and monitoring parking fees and administering commute bonus payments to workforce members who do not drive alone to work. Serves as the primary department liaison with payroll, finance, human resources, and external organizations that employ Children's non-employee staff, to develop, implement and perform standard work for regular billing cycles and compliance audits, and to ensure financial practices meet accounting standards and support departmental goals for parking management, commute trip reduction, and sustainability.

  

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Program Management, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of three (3) years experience to include a combination of the following: Customer service, budgeting, financial customer service, public policy, environmental, or project and database management.
Minimum of one (2) year experience as lead or staff supervisor.
Minimum 2 years business or financial experience.

Preferred
At least six (3) years experience working in budgeting, financial customer service, human resources, transportation, public policy, environmental or project management.
Master’s Degree in Business, Program Management, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Communications, or related field.

Compensation Range

$97,665.00 - $146,497.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
