Average Daily Volume: 10 30 cases/day
Case Mix: Surgical Assist (Gen Surgery, Orthopedics, OBGYN, Urology, ENT)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE
Licenses: GA
Certifications: BLS

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons in the OR across multiple specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Urology, and ENT
Perform surgical first -assist duties during scheduled non -urgent cases, typically Mon -Fri, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Collaborate with the surgical team including surgeon, scrub tech, circulating RN, and CRNA to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Manage intraoperative tasks such as tissue handling, suturing, wound closure, and hemostasis as directed by the surgeon
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR for all surgical cases
