We are partnering with a specialty oral surgery practice to hire a Surgical Assistant / Surgical Technologist interested in transitioning into an outpatient surgical setting. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in surgical technology, medical assisting, or clinical patient care who enjoy hands-on procedures, patient interaction, and working closely with surgeons.
No dental or oral surgery experience is required — comprehensive training is provided. This is a strong long-term career opportunity for someone who wants consistent hours, advanced procedural exposure, and a supportive team environment.

What You’ll Do
Assist the oral surgeon during procedures including:
Tooth extractions
Dental implants
Bone grafting
IV sedation cases
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical setups and instruments
Take and process dental X-rays and CBCT scans (training provided if needed)
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures (including vital signs)
Support IV sedation workflows and patient safety protocols
Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions
Maintain accurate charts and surgical documentation
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control protocols
Qualifications
Surgical technologist, Medical Assistant, clinical patient-care background background
Experience working in sterile or procedural environments
Willingness to learn oral surgery procedures and dental workflows
X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
CPR/BLS required
ACLS required (in-house training and support provided)
Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced surgical environment
Calm, professional, and compassionate chairside manner

Schedule
Monday–Friday — no evenings or weekends
Typical hours fall between 32–38 hours/week
Everyone receives a scheduled ½-day off during the week
