SURGICAL ASSISTANT-CERTIFIED

Graduation from an accredited school of surgical assistant or Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) surgical assistant program. Licensure: Not applicable Must be willing to work with acutely ill patients, including emergency situations. Works independently as well as functioning as a team member. Reference of collaborating physician IF they have been in this role Certified as a Surgical Assistant from a program accredited from the CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) required. Experience: Two years clinical experience as a Surgical Assistant preferred.
