Surgical Contract Specialist

The National Account Support Specialist provides day-to-day support to the National Account Directors (NADs) who manage Hologic's Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and strategic national accounts. This role works closely with the sales organization and internal business partners to help execute account strategies, resolve customer requests, support contracting activities, and provide basic reporting and analytics.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and enjoys working across multiple teams to keep projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

National Account Support

• Support National Account Directors with daily account management activities. 


• Coordinate customer requests and follow up on action items. 


• Help prepare presentations, reports, and customer business reviews. 


• Maintain account records and track important deadlines. 

Sales Team Support

• Serve as a resource for the field sales organization regarding GPO contracts and national account questions. 


• Connect sales teams with the appropriate internal resources to resolve issues. 


• Communicate contract updates and other important account information. 

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work with Legal, Pricing, Finance, Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales Operations to support customer needs. 


• Help coordinate internal activities that support national account initiatives. 


• Ensure timely communication between teams. 

Contract Support

• Assist with contract administration and redlining. 


• Coordinate contract revisions with Legal and National Account Directors. 


• Help maintain contract files and renewal schedules. 

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare basic sales and contract reports. 


• Support customer business reviews with data and analysis. 


• Assist with ad hoc reporting and data requests. 

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 


• Red Lining experience is required 


• 2–5 years of experience in sales support, account management, contracting, or commercial operations. 


• Strong organizational and communication skills. 


• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. 


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively. 

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare or medical device industry. 


• Familiarity with GPOs, national accounts, or healthcare contracting. 


• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, or similar systems. 


• Support sales team through review and redline of customer contracts on both Hologic and customer paper.


• Participate in live customer negotiations as needed.


• Suggest and draft contract language for internal clause library.


• Draft and improve internal contract templates.


• Advise sales and marketing team on potential risks associated with a given agreement.


• Ensure timely response time for contract language edits requested on sales quotations.


• Interact directly with internal and external customers, marketing, Directors of National Accounts, and field sales regarding contract questions and deal strategy.


• Participate in ad hoc projects and presentations as assigned.

Additional Info:

The annualized base salary range for this role is $97,300 to $152,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant

experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
