We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Surgical Coordinator to join our dynamic surgical services team. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between patients, families, and the surgical team, ensuring seamless coordination of preoperative and postoperative care.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Schedule and confirm surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary preoperative assessments and documentation are completed.
• Serve as the main point of contact for patients and families, providing clear information and addressing concerns throughout the surgical process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including surgical consents and medical histories.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient surgical workflows.
• Ensure all procedures comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned by management.

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years in a healthcare setting, preferably in a surgical or clinical coordination role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software.
