Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize the surgical rooms after procedures are performed
• Floor care of surgical rooms
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of hospital, waiting rooms, restrooms, offices, conference rooms and within departments
• Maintains a clean and neat environment in working areas
• Participates in a cleaning activities as assigned
• Keeps assigned area and cleaning cart fully stocked with supplies and equipment

Requirements:

Schedule: 

• 64 hours a pay period (full-time benefit eligible)
• Mon-Fri, 4 - 8 hour shifts per week
• 3p-11:30p - may consider a later start time
• Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the department
