Surgical Scrub Tech

4x9 hour days, On call rotation and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, equipment, and operating rooms before procedures
• Set up surgical trays and ensure all necessary tools and supplies are available
• Maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery
• Count surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after procedures to ensure accuracy
• Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting incision sites
• Handle surgical specimens according to proper protocols
• Assist with applying dressings and transferring patients after surgery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the operating room
