Surgical Technician

Hudson Hospital is looking to hire a Surgical Technician to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

The Surgical Technician plays a vital role in surgeries. This role will proficiently scrub on a variety of surgical cases and maintain asepsis. The Technician assists the circulating nurse with patient care, and when on call will assist in sterile processing and instrument processing.

Our ideal Surgical Technician is:

• Service-oriented, providing good customer service to operating room personnel and other departments throughout the hospital.

• Knowledgeable about surgical instruments, surgical procedures, and surgical asepsis.

• Knowledgeable of the sterilization process, and understanding of basic principles of sterilization.

• Excited to provide excellent care to our patients!

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday with required call.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.

• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience in the OR.

• Surgical Technician Certification.

Additional Information:

This is a non-union 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) day/evening shift position, working in Hudson, WI. The full salary range for this position is $30.46-$45.70 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
