Surgical Technician - Full Time

Surgical Technician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. Positions available are Full-Time and may include Day and Night shifts. You will work 12-hour shifts in this role. Schedule options can be discussed during interview.

Surgical Technologists are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients.  Surgical technologists work under the supervision of the surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. Ensures that the operating room environment is safe, the equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Coursework/Training: Obtains 6 CEUs per year.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year operating room experience.
