Surgical Technologist - Travel Position
Location: Vail, CO
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12
Pay: $2264/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Surgical Technologist to join our healthcare team. The Surg Tech will assist in preparing operating rooms, arranging instruments, and supporting surgeons during procedures to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes. The ideal candidate is organized, focused, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms with the necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Ensure sterile techniques are maintained before, during, and after procedures.
Hand instruments and supplies to surgeons and assist during surgeries.
Monitor and maintain surgical equipment functionality.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to support efficiency and patient safety.
Handle specimens properly and assist with post-operative clean-up.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
BLS/CPR certification, TB test, COVID vaccine
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum 1 year of surgical technology experience in a hospital setting
