Surgical Technologist (Certified Surgical Tech)

What You'll Do

As a Surgical Technologist, you'll help create a safe, efficient surgical experience for both patients and providers. You'll prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile environment, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and play a key role in delivering excellent patient outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare surgical instruments, implants, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Ensure operating rooms are properly set up and ready for each case.
• Maintain sterile technique and support infection prevention standards throughout procedures.
• Serve as the scrub technologist during surgical and invasive procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and efficiently pass instruments and supplies during cases.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and procedural setup.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other perioperative team members.
• Support efficient room turnover between procedures.
• Inspect instruments and equipment to ensure proper function and readiness.
• Follow patient safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing education, competency validation, and quality improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required.
• At least 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery setting preferred.
• Orthopedic or specialty surgery experience preferred.
