QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program or equivalent surgery experience


• Confident with IV catheters, phlebotomy, and anesthesia monitoring


• Strong math skills and attention to controlled substances


• Clear, professional communication skills


• Motivation to learn and support others

Prior specialty experience is preferred but not required if you're the right fit. We're looking for someone driven, team-oriented, and excited to grow into a key contributor.

PAY: $23-$28 per hour, depending on experience

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SURGICAL VETERINARY TECH

This is a full-time position working Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts, with no weekends or holidays.

As our Surgical Veterinary Tech, you'll guide surgical patients through every stage of care, inducing and monitoring anesthesia, managing precise drug protocols, and supporting safe recoveries. You'll assist with epidurals, nerve blocks, radiographs, and CT imaging while collaborating closely with veterinarians, clients, and your team. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate records and safe handling of controlled substances, while your mentorship strengthens the entire team.
