Job Description:

Responsible for care and treatment of patients including diagnostic and therapeutic intervention. Medical care, records/documentation, standards of care, patient and community relations, and regulatory compliance. Residents and/or Fellows are accepted.

Located in one of the nation’s most sought-after coastal destinations, Northeast Florida’s largest and most distinguished name in surgical care is actively seeking an Acute Care Surgeon/Surgicalist to join the private practice team at North Florida Surgeons, Baptist South Division.

What You Can Expect as a General Surgicalist:

Hours are Monday – Monday (26 weeks/year) 7:00 – 5:00. Rare night call. Rotating holidays.

7 Days on/7 Days off Model

26 weeks per year

Competitive Salary and Bonus Incentive

What You will do:

Operate at Baptist Medical Center South.

Consult in the hospital and emergency room, then follow up with surgical care.

Work with two dedicated physician assistants who round, consult, and scrub cases.

Manage high volume of acute surgical cases within an operating room with robotic capability.
