IT Professional that works on a team responsible for facilities -based systems, including
but not limited to, surveillance, door control, building automation, and
telecommunication. This work includes all aspects of design, planning, installation, and
support of the aforementioned systems, including supporting desktop PCs, servers,
network devices, storage solutions, and surveillance -specific equipment. Install,
configure, maintain, and monitor multiple state -wide networks, we filtering with Palo
Altos and Zscaler, as well as mitigating issues as they arise. Responsible for extensive
system documentation creation and updates. Work is performed at the agency’s nearly
200 locations, state -wide, including the agency’s many secure sites, often
independently. Delegation and improvisational skills, creativity, adaptability, and strong
troubleshooting skills required. Day travel also required, and long days are common.

2. Travel on the team is mostly in -state, day trips. The state provides vehicles out of fleet pool for qualified drivers. There have been some occurrences of overnight travel, but it is very infrequent and planned out well in advance.
