Job Title: Surveillance Investigator
Position Summary:
Magna Legal Services is seeking an Investigator to join our team! As an Surveillance Investigator, your job is to conduct discreet mobile surveillance on individuals who are involved in litigation on behalf of clients, including lawyers, corporations, insurance companies. The primary goal is to gather accurate and timely information and evidence to help clients make informed decisions or build a legal case. This position will be primarily in the field in Houston, TX and surrounding areas.
It is anticipated that 80% of the surveillance conducted will be within an hour or so travel of the Houston area, applicants should be aware that approximately 20% of cases will require travel further, necessitating overnight stays, expenses for which are reimbursed by the company. Travel will typically only be for a few days at a time.
The position requires the use of your personal vehicle & mileage is reimbursed at the current federal rate.
While this position will primarily include conducting mobile surveillance, other overflow occasional duties could include, service of process and canvassing accident scenes
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
