Job Description - Surveillance- Nights

Qualifications:
High school diploma or G.E.D. required with a preference towards individuals with training in security, law enforcement, or previous surveillance experience. Candidates must pass background and drug screening per Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license (Medical Marijuana cards are accepted). Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays—is required. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Surveillance Officer is responsible for observing the activities at Kaw Nation Gaming Facilities. They maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring all activities through CCTV systems and other security technologies. This role involves detecting and assessing problems, identifying suspicious behavior, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, and protecting the assets of KGI, Kaw Nation, guests, and employees.

Enter, transcribe, record, store, and maintain information in both written and electronic formats.
Operate closed-circuit surveillance systems to monitor all areas of the property.
Observe activities to detect infractions of policy rules and regulations, fraud, scams, and other violations among guests and casino personnel.
Use strong communication skills to document and report incidents clearly, both verbally and in writing, and to propose appropriate resolutions.
Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with departments to proactively address vulnerabilities, implement controls, and reinforce compliance standards
Maintain a profession appearance and demeanor while conducing company business
