JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform multiple types of land surveys ranging from, boundary, ALTA, topographic & utility, and construction staking. Drone and scanning knowledge and experience a plus.
• Proficient in operating Tirmble surveying equipment and data collectors.
• Identifies hazardous situations and applies company safety procedures.
• Professional communication with clients, contractors, teammates, etc.
• Ability to transfer survey data to the proper files in the company network and acquire data for field use.
• Ability to analyze boundary records and evidence.
• Motivate, train, & lead crew & staff members while following proper field procedures.
• Ability to interpret design plans for construction/staking/laying out.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant land survey experience required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
• Boundary, ALTA, topographic and utility survey and construction staking experience.
• Able to work outdoors, in various weather conditions and terrain conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• 3D Scanning and drone experience preferred, but not required. 
• Organization, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
• Ability to pass background and screening tests.
• Able to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
