We work on exciting, impactful projects, and we are looking for motivated individuals to join our surveying team in Jackson, Wyoming. Position Overview:


As a Survey Field Technician, you will be out in the field, learning the ropes of land surveying while directly supporting our Survey Party Chief. This entry-level role is a fantastic opportunity to dive into surveying, gaining valuable experience with a team that values growth and training. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with field surveys and data collection under the direction of the Survey Party Chief.
  • Learn and apply foundational surveying principles and industry-standard practices.
  • Operate, maintain, and help with survey equipment and instruments.
  • Compile survey data, both manually and electronically, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Help assess evidence and measurements in collaboration with the Survey Party Chief
  • Perform both manual labor and basic clerical duties as needed to support field tasks.

Requirements

What We are Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and an aptitude for keeping accurate records.
  • Ability to perform basic math for survey calculations.
  • Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of surveying principles and techniques.

Skills & Abilities:

  • A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to apply acquired knowledge to real-world surveying projects.
  • Demonstrated physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and to work in various outdoor conditions.

Physical Requirements:


This role requires physical stamina and flexibility, as you will be standing, walking, stooping, crawling, and even climbing at times. Manual dexterity is also needed for handling the survey instruments and equipment.
