About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Survey Field Technician / Instrument Operator to support our surveying team in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, collaborating with a team, and contributing to high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and assist with surveying instruments including prisms, total stations, GPS/electronic distance-measuring equipment, and auto-levels
Accurately record survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, sketches, drawings, and digital data collection tools
Set and position targets for operators to measure angles, distances, and elevations
Perform manual labor tasks using drills, cutting equipment, and other tools as needed
Assist with surveying activities such as point layout, equipment layout, and blueprint interpretation
Collaborate with team members across field operations, administration, and production

Qualifications

Experience with surveying equipment preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Ability to perform physical labor and lift equipment as needed
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
