Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Manager with expertise in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and land surveying to lead and oversee various projects. The ideal candidate will be a licensed or certified civil engineer with a strong understanding of land surveying principles and practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage surveying projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and manage project budgets, fees and writing and reviewing proposals ensuring resources are allocated effectively and costs are controlled.
• Implementing QA/QC practices for final survey deliverables
• Coordinate project schedules and timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed as per agreed deadlines.
• Coordinating and managing outside survey subcontractors
• Prepare, review, and approve survey documents, reports, and plans.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Resolve project-related issues, ensuring a smooth workflow and mitigating any delays or conflicts.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in surveying, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of surveying equipment, software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D), and land surveying techniques.
• Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Certification in land surveying or a related field is preferred (e.g., LS, PLS).
