Survey Technician 1

Description

RETTEW is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Land Surveyor to join our team as a Survey Technician. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in surveying and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field. As a Survey Technician, you will work under the supervision of experienced surveyors and assist in various surveying tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys and measurements using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
• Assist in the preparation of survey maps, plats, and reports.
• Perform data collection and analysis to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain and organize survey equipment and tools.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures during fieldwork.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Surveying (preferred but not required).
• 0-3 years of experience in land surveying or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of surveying principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
