Surveyor-Project Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced highly skilled licensed PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) to join our team in our Jackson, WY, Pinedale, WY or Kemmerer, WY location. As a Project Surveyor, under the general supervision of the Senior Project Surveyor you will be responsible for overseeing and managing surveying projects from start to finish. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute surveying projects, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
• Conduct research and analysis to determine project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of technical records and write reports of a complex technical nature. 
• Review surveying reports, maps, and drawings, ensuring that all surveying work is completed in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Registration as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. 
• Thorough knowledge of effective legal practices, methods, techniques, and equipment of land surveying. 
• Considerable local knowledge of plats, plans, maps, deeds, and local geography a plus. 
• Complete working knowledge of AutoCAD, Windows-based applications, and surveying software as appropriate. 
• Must have excellent judgement, leadership, and communication skills.  
• Possession of a valid driver’s license required.
