POSITION DESCRIPTION

As the Senior Vice President (SVP) / Regional Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance across all divisions within your assigned region. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have direct oversight of division managers, the regional business manager, and the divisions/region Profit and Loss (P&L).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and market expansion within the region.
    • Provide visionary leadership and direction to division managers and the regional team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee the divisions/region P&L, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with division managers and the regional business manager to optimize financial performance, manage expenses, and maximize revenue generation.
    • Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Provide guidance and support to division managers and the regional business manager in executing operational strategies to drive efficiency and productivity.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate divisional and regional performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Development:
    • Mentor, coach, and develop division managers and the regional team, empowering them to achieve their full potential and contribute effectively to organizational objectives.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the region.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and divisional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals and priorities.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, to enhance the organization's reputation and market presence.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with regional operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in collaboration with the Risk Management Team.
    • Implement effective risk management strategies to safeguard the organization's assets and reputation.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Lead the development and execution of annual strategic plans and budgets for the region, in collaboration with division managers and the executive team.
    • Monitor progress towards strategic objectives, adjusting as necessary to ensure successful implementation.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field - or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in business management, financial management or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (GAAP, SOX, etc.) and best practices in business and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with both internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of life safety systems and relevant codes, standards, and regulations preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to work within divisions, attend conferences, and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to pass various background checks.
  • Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
