Reports to: Chief Technology Officer 

Juvare is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Vice President (SVP), Software Engineering to lead and scale our global engineering organization. This role is critical in driving the successful delivery of our enterprise software solutions and ensuring engineering excellence at all levels. The SVP will own the engineering strategy, execution, and organizational development to support rapid growth and innovation. 

Responsibilities 

• Define and execute the technology strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives. 

• Lead the development of enterprise-grade software products, ensuring high standards of scalability, security, reliability, and performance. 

• Oversee the software engineering, product architecture and DevOps teams. 

• Stay abreast of technological trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement and innovation. 

• Champion the use of agile methodologies and modern development practices (CI/CD, test automation, service based and cloud-native architectures). 

• Partner with product management to translate market needs into innovative software solutions. 

• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the technical teams. 

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including data privacy and cybersecurity requirements. 

• Develop and manage technology budgets and resource planning. 

• Effectively increase team capability through upgrading and up-skilling of talent. 

• Deliver projects reliably by identifying risks early and effectively prioritize resources. 

• Communicate with customers during escalations and joint planning. 

• Effectively communicate to board the technology strategy and engineering priorities. 

• Represent the company in technical discussions with clients, partners, and stakeholders. 

 Qualifications: 

• Based in Atlanta metro area with ability to work in Juvare Atlanta office 3+ days per week 

• 15+ years of software engineering leadership experience 

• Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade software platforms 

• Understanding of NLP, GenAI, ML, deep learning and other AI technologies and  experience leading Artificial Intelligence development projects 

• Experience leading geographically distributed R&D organizations of 100+ people 

• Experience in setting up engineering centers abroad   

• Experience managing technology budgets and resource planning 

• Deep understanding of modern software architectures (cloud-native, APIs, service-based architectures, containers, CI/CD pipelines, etc.). 

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. 

• Experience with data/decision science including AI/GenAI/ML 

• Experience integrating acquisitions 

• Experience positioning concepts to boards 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technical strategies with business goals. 

• Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. 

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)

This position requires access to information that is controlled by the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).  A candidate must qualify as a “U.S. Person” or be otherwise eligible to access EAR covered materials through an EAR exception or license.  A "U.S. Person" as defined by the EAR includes a U.S. Citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
