SVP, USPB Retail Business Sanctions Risk Officer

Job Description

The KYC Operations Sr Officer is a senior-level position is the designated Business Sanctions Risk Officer for USPB Retail.  This role is the designated by the business and is responsible for managing sanctions compliance risk, through actives and the oversight of execution.

Responsibilities:

• Represent line of business in multiple forums, internally and externally, including senior management discussions and key stakeholder meetings across the business, compliance and operations to provide transparency on initiatives
• Work with Global Sanctions team to provide strategic direction and develop all aspects of the KYC control environment (e.g., people, process, technology and governance)
• Ensure proper and effective governance of tasks and processes with reference to internal policy and external regulation
• Partner with Compliance, the business and KYC teams globally on interpretation and implementation of new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions policies
• Assess and manage changes to the Sanctions control environment delivered though process, policy and technology change
• Drive continuous improvements to quality of data, control reporting and associated metrics to increase global consistency
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$134,960.00 - $202,440.00
