Douglas Motors, home of Douglas Volkswagen in Summit, NJ, is seeking a reliable, safety‑minded Per Diem Swap Driver to assist with vehicle pick‑ups, drop‑offs, and inter‑dealer transfers on an as‑needed basis.

About the role

• Part‑time, per-diem position based at Douglas Motors/Douglas Volkswagen, 491 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ.


• Primary duties include swapping vehicles between locations, transporting customer and inventory vehicles, and supporting our sales and service teams with occasional delivery runs.


• Manual transmission experience required; candidate must be comfortable operating stick‑shift vehicles (manual transmission) when needed.

What we’re looking for

• Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Confident driving both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, including new and pre‑owned Volkswagens.


• Professional, courteous demeanor with strong customer service skills.


• Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible daytime hours as business needs arise (weekdays and occasional Saturdays).
