JOB SUMMARY:
As a Swine Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing sales, primarily to large swine producer accounts. You will look for opportunities to grow revenues with existing accounts in addition to leveraging your industry connections and relationships to establish new business. You will serve as part of an account team, to ensure a great customer experience and will leverage the range of Ralco products and services across our various brands to bring solutions to your accounts. In many cases, you will serve as the account manager, and in other situations, you will support other account managers as part of the team. You will be responsible for the income statement relative to the sales and profitability of your assigned accounts.
You must be able to communicate and work well with a broader team. You will work with technical, product management, marketing, regulatory, operations, finance, and customer service to develop opportunities and meet the customers' needs. You must work well with the entire team to define target accounts and define goals and approaches for these accounts.

KEY WORK DUTIES AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: MS or BS degree in Swine Nutrition, a related field, or similar experience.
Experience: 5+ years of responsibility in a sales or marketing role.
General: Satisfactorily complete introductory period per company policy.
Physical: The following activities are required as needed to perform the job function; lifting, driving, bending, climbing, carrying, and twisting. Confined space entry is not a required job function. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the key work duties.
Travel: The position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites in and out of the territory.

Maintain Technological Expertise: Keeps informed of technological advances affecting the industry; recognizes/identifies appropriate and effective technological applications for use by the company; applies internal technology to effective advantage.
