Swing Cab Crane Operator

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Swing Cab Crane Operator to join our team for upcoming projects at the Port of Houston - Barbour's Cut Terminal, followed by the SH99 Grand Parkway Widening Project in North Houston. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating swing cab cranes in compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate swing cab cranes to lift, move, and position materials safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Follow site-specific safety protocols and industry standards.
• Collaborate with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to execute lifting operations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of crane operations.
• Adhere to schedules and project timelines while maintaining a high standard of work.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• NCCCO - TLL (Swing Cab) Certification or equivalent crane operator certification.
• Proven experience operating swing cab cranes in a construction or port environment.
• Strong understanding of crane load charts, rigging principles, and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be available to start by ASAP.

Additional Information:

• The role will initially be based at Port of Houston - Barbour's Cut Terminal, with a transition to the SH99 Grand Parkway Widening Project after several months.
• No truck or fuel allowance is provided.
