Swiss/Bar Feed Operator

2nd Shift

Job Description:

As a Swiss/Bar Feed Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Swiss-style CNC machines and bar feeders to produce high-quality precision parts. Your main duties will include:

• Loading and unloading bar stock into the bar feeder and monitoring the machine to ensure proper operation
• Making adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and meet production targets
• Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment 
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and making any necessary adjustments
• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during production
• Adhering to all safety and quality standards and following company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating Swiss-style CNC machines
• Experience with bar feeders is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
