Eaton\u2019s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Switch Technician (B) - 1st Shift to join our team in Bethel, CT!\n\nThe core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm.\n\nThe hourly rate for this position is $22.50 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Electro-Mechanical Technician (Switch) is responsible for loading test stands and setting up testing for very small and intricate parts. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge in reading, interpreting, and following technical work instructions and blueprints. This first shift position is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere. \n \nIn this function you will: \n\u2022 Set up, start and then break down test ovens which contain small electro-mechanical parts \n\u2022 Interpret customer and supplier requirements (via blueprints and work instructions) \n\u2022 Recommend design and process improvements to enhance manufacturability \n\u2022 Perform visual inspection of parts \n\u2022 Maintain quality records\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 High School Diploma or GED or equivalent from an accredited institution or equivalent related experience required. \n\u2022 Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.\n\n\u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
