Description
JOB SUMMARY: Answers incoming calls, keeps records and miscellaneous files up to date and is responsible for the general functioning of the main switchboard.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS: Direct relationship with patients/families, physicians and staff.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalency certificate. Three years experience in a telephone switchboard setting preferred. Excellent customer service skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Classification of work level: Heavy. Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 100 pounds using proper body mechanics. Requires manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computer, fax and telephone. Requires hearing and vision that is adequate to perform job duties.
