Switchboard Operator

The Switchboard Operator will be responsible for answering and appropriately transferring calls from patients, clinics, physicians, and staff in a courteous and efficient manner. Customer and quality service are the main objectives.

This is a full time role based at our Corporate Office located in Woodbury, MN.  Monday - Friday schedule of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (schedule subject to change). 

• Answer incoming phone calls.


• Provide front line customer service in communication, listening and telephone skills to all customers.


• Direct calls to the appropriate person or location.


• Send Doc Halo consults/urgent matters to the correct provider/team.


• Monitor and maintain lists daily of staffing/phone.


• Direct all electronic faxes to correct department/teams.


• Other duties as assigned.

Summit's hiring range for this position is $17.87 to $22.34 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials and/or deferred compensation.
