System Analyst

Role : Systems Analyst
Location : Durham, NC
Contract : W2 Contract

Job Description :

6+ years relevant experience in various systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, building batch applications, uses case development, story writing, set-up / configuration of systems, user acceptance testing and product documentation.
Proven capacity to lead analysis of business systems and/or business process to identify user needs, document requirements, sequencing UML, and address operation/ process issues/ improvements to accomplish business objectives.
Proven capacity to lead clarification and ‘translation’ of less-technical documentation and/or requirements into highly technical subject-matter.
Experience in building queries and general database skills are a must.
Leadership ability to train key partners and other constituencies in new solutions - architecture and implementation.
Familiarity with restful services.
Bachelor’s degree encouraged, MBA or MS preferred.
Superb communication skills – written, verbal and presentation artifacts.
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
Prior work in an Agile environment
Solid grasp of Fidelity’s unique landscape with experience in multiple product offerings, preferred.
Outstanding analytical skills and ability to lead distillation and translation of sophisticated customer needs into Agile stories with clear, substantial acceptance criteria.
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills; highly compassionate emotional intelligence blended with analytical rigor and passion for technology.
Ability to build reputation and influence across the firm and at all levels of management.
Customer-obsessed with validated dedication to and success with delivering measurable business value.
Innovative yet pragmatic – able to lead teams toward risk-taking with the highest likely marginal return.
