Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering activities in support of advanced aerospace and defense platforms.
- Develop and manage system, software, and subsystem requirements.
- Define and document internal and external system interfaces.
- Allocate system requirements across engineering disciplines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and integration/test.
- Support technical documentation, requirements traceability, and verification efforts.
- Create test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
- Execute integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) testing activities.
- Participate in technical reviews and engineering assessments.
Qualifications
- Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes, requirements development, and documentation.
- Experience with system verification and test planning/execution.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (CAMEO preferred).
- Experience developing software requirements and collaborating closely with software engineers.
- Background in system and software design, integration, and operational testing.
- Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience working with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with complex aerospace, defense, or mission-critical systems.
