System Engineer, Level 3

What you will be doing!
As a System Engineer, Level 3, you will provide support for multiple machine rooms.

Responsibilities

• Rack and Stack Servers, switches, routers, etc.
• Run cables for new builds, troubleshoot hardware issues with various model PDUsPDUs, servers, network gear, KVMsKVMs, Serial switches, etc.,
• Break down old racks for excess decommissioning. 
• Maintain Access control systems for the Machine rooms.
• Maintain live/lab & spare inventories on hand and in Customer databases.
• Create/ Maintain rack drawings as needed.
• Currier Hardware between buildings.
• Work with facilities staff to update machine rooms.
• Continuously clean up old cables under the floor/over the racks, etc.​

• A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus six (6) years of systems engineering experience OR
• A High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area). OR
• A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline 
• from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience OR
• A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
• An active TS/SCI security clearance with an appropriate polygraph is required for this role.
