Job Description - System Sales Engineer - English/Japanese

Job Details:

Job Title: System Sales Engineer
Working Location: Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Permanent/Full-time
Salary: $70-$100K (DOE) + Full benefits

What will you do:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Procure and allocate enough manpower with a proper IT/project management skillset to meet the expectations of the company’s clients
Research and introduce a product and/or service through contracting with vendors and
partners to expand the company’s business

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Thoroughly understand technical details of the company/customer’s IT environment and its business use. Periodically review and make suggestions for the area of improvement to the sales team/company to drive the target IT system toward self-autonomy to result in the availability of resources to be assigned for a new or additional project and services.
Assign appropriate team members (including contractors) for the projects and services per requests from sales/internal IT team, while preparing for backup strategy in case of planned and unplanned absence of assigned personnel.
Periodically check in with the members to ensure ongoing projects and services are going as planned, and follow up/cover any issues that arise.
Pick up and adjust to any requests, issues, shortcomings raised by the team members and sales teams during the service delivery period to maximize customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree
Fluent in English and Japanese, both written and verbal
Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese
Proactive thinking, willing to take challenging tasks

SKILLS

Functional knowledge of Windows servers (2012-current)
Functional knowledge of Cloud products (AWS, MS-Azure, Microsoft 365)
Functional knowledge of L2/L3 networks and WiFi (Firewall: Cisco, Fortigate Wifi: Meraki)
Functional knowledge of Internet/WAN (DID, SD-WAN, BGP)
Functional knowledge of VoIP (SIP, Teams Voice)
