Systems Administrator

Altus Consulting is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, network devices, and other IT infrastructure.


• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, backups, and security patching.


• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.


• Respond to user requests and provide technical support.


• Document system configurations and procedures.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT technologies and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.


• Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.


• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (optional).


• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python).


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with poly clearance is required.


• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).


• 2+ years of experience in systems administration or a related role.


• Understanding of IT infrastructure and best practices.
