We have a 12 month contract opportunity for a Systems Architect. This role is 100% remote but must work CST business hours.
Must Haves Skills:
5+ years of expertise with EHRs (Cerner Millennium, athenaPM and/or athenaOne knowledge a plus)
strong work knowledge with application, data, and integration with EHR product suite - ability to create, run, extract reports and table investigate
Job Description:
The Cross-Functional Architect will be responsible for the discovery and design of Cerner and Earth EHRs to support the client. This role requires a strong work knowledge of applications, motivators, communication, and organizational skills. The candidate should have five plus years of expertise in these programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in a cross-functional environment.
Design and implement Cerner and Earth EHRs systems.
Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
Formulate and define system scope and requirements using analysis of information in the development of information systems.
Create and modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering system limitations and capacity.
Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
Ensure these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for agency IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems, and the external interfaces.
Provide detailed specifications to developers.
Provide technical expertise in evaluating new software/system modifications.
Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant.
Evaluate analytically and systematically problems of workflows, organization, and planning and develop appropriate corrective action.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in relevant programs.
strong work knowledge of applications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in the Central time zone.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.
Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.
Ability to fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
Requires practical experience and training.
