We're seeking an innovative Systems Development Leader to guide our development team, drive project success, and help us deliver cutting-edge solutions that empower Kansans with internet freedom. Location:

This role will be a hybrid opportunity - working both in the Buhler office located at: 111 Old Mill Lane Buhler, Kansas and remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set strategy and vision for the team that aligns with IdeaTek’s overall mission.
• Lead and develop a team of Development team members ensuring individuals are connected to their roles and the value they create individually and as a team.
• Provide feedback to team members and leadership on accuracy of project timeline projections and push the team to meet or exceed expectations. Aim for 95% on time project deliveries.
• Project management for both internal and external development resources.
• Ensure progress is achieved on key project deliverables and objectives.
• Oversee and assist with increasing our efficiency and use of AI and Analytics. Including working with Python and cloud based data warehouses.
• Assist the company with navigating through the implementation of application platforms, with timely delivery and cost efficacy.
• Gather and distill requirements for new systems/system updates.
• Prioritize system development efforts to ensure we are working on the right projects at the right time.
• Keep apprised of new technology that may benefit IdeaTek, its customers and employees.
• Ensure team members are connected to IdeaTek’s goals and personal roles, responsibilities and expectations and are continuing to grow and develop.

• Strong ability to ferret out processes and task owners from a wide variety of stakeholders

Requirements

Experience/Knowledge Required:

• 5+ years experience working in a development or systems position
• 3+ years leadership experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferences:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology
