Systems Engineer

Seeking a Systems Engineers with VM experience to assist our customer with overall operations and maintenance of VM infrastructure. Tasks include installation, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting, operating and maintaining hypervisor servers and associated hardware and software.

Required Skills:

• Prior experience as Systems Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Demonstrated experience maintaining a VMWare ESX infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience with Linux
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
• Demonstrated experience maintaining a HyperV infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience with Windows OSs
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Desired Skills:

• Experience with AWS is desired
• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or similar is highly desired
• Certifications to meet the DOD 8570 IAT certifications (i.e. Security+ or higher level)
• Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting

A current U.S. government security clearance and background investigation is required and therefore all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
