We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. \n\n## The impact you\u2019ll make\n\nAs a Systems Engineer for Lab Operations Development at Lam, you will contribute to the design and installation of complex systems used to implement and automate lab operations business processes in Lam\u2019s product labs around the globe. You will define system specifications, requirements, parameters, and compatibility to integrate hardware, software, and firmware into a cohesive system. By identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses, combined with your multi-layered technical expertise, you will help shape the next generation of Lam product labs. This role manages the implementation of Lam lab architectural, automation, and operational guidelines and BKMs during the design, build, and startup of new Lam labs.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Contribute to the design and installation/implementation of complex automation systems and processes used in the operations of the next generation of Lam\u2019s product labs.\n * Manage the implementation of Lam lab architectural, automation, and operational guidelines and Best Known Methods (BKMs) during the design, build, and startup of new Lam labs.\n * Ensure integration of existing and evolving Lam lab architectural and automation guidelines and BKMs in the design and build of new labs.\n * Ensure integration of existing and evolving Lam lab operational and staffing guidelines and BKMs during the startup of new labs.\n * Direct the goals, roles, responsibilities, and work output of assigned project managers.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor\u2019s degree; or 12 years of experience with a Master\u2019s degree; or 8 years of experience with a PhD; or equivalent experience.\n * Experience in cleanroom operations or cleanroom facilities management.\n * Experience in program and/or project management.\n * Strong program and/or project management skills.\n * Highly motivated to lead a team to success.\n * Always seeking improvement and driving projects to timely closure.\n * Ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines effectively.\n * Excellent interpersonal communication and people skills.\n * Strong leadership and influence management skills.\n * Strong problem-solving skills.\n * Excellent English speaking and writing skills.\n * Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
