Job Title: Azure Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Azure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, strong technical expertise in Azure services, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual machines, networks, storage, and security features.
- Implement Azure DevOps practices for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages to streamline deployment and management processes.
- Monitor Azure infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement cloud-native applications and services on Azure.
- Implement and maintain Azure security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security groups (NSGs), and data encryption.
- Conduct regular audits, performance assessments, and capacity planning to ensure efficient use of Azure resources.
- Stay updated with the latest Azure technologies, trends, and best practices to propose and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking (Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute), Azure Storage (Blob Storage, Azure Files, Azure Disks), Azure Security (Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Security Center), etc.
- Experience with Azure DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, or similar for automation and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing (Azure Functions) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new technologies.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204, or higher are preferred.
