POSITION: Systems Engineer – BCA & SE Docs

LOCATION: Quantico, VA (On-Site Work)

STATUS: Full time – Contingent Hire     

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience


• Experience: 5+years of related experience with support of systems engineering documentation and Business Case Analyses (BCA) and SE Documentation for infantry weapons, optics, and anti‑armor programs


• Must Haves: Extensive experience with developing technical artifacts including requirements traceability matrices, architecture products, trade studies, and acquisition decision support documentation


• Citizenship and Clearance: US Citizen with Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one


• Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements


• Skills: Relevant Business Case Analyses and DoD Acquisition decision support documentation experience; Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong documentation and technical reporting skills, Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Client Familiarity: USMC


• Tools Familiarity: DoD 5000 Manual, DoD/IC Acquisition Process, DAU courses

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Support of systems engineering SE documentation and BCA for infantry weapons, optics, and anti‑armor programs


• Developing technical artifacts including requirements traceability matrices, architecture products, trade studies, and acquisition decision support documentation


• Develop, maintain, and deliver required documentation, reports, and analyses
