Salary:
TDEC, a nationally recognized Business Processing Organization (BPO), seeks an experienced System Engineer for a client in our Elizabeth City, NC office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support for implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems
- Manages IT system infrastructure and processes related to these systems
- Provides support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client problems
- Provides second level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
- Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Experience Required:
- US Citizenship
- Five (5) years of experience in Linux, VMWare, and SAS
- Experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: virtualization or client/server based
- Capable of defining all required database administration policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and SOP
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
Experience Preferred:
- Experience in systems oversight
